We were overwhelmed by the historical and scientific truth that is the climate change crisis explored by Professor Sir David King through the anecdotes of his decades spent working with governments and policy makers globally on climate adaptation and mitigation and now on climate repair.
Finally we heard from Anita Grant, the Director of Islington Play Association and Ebony Amoroso, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the media giant Endevor. They spoke about personal and team values which for Anita underpin the vital work of providing services to some of the most marginalised children and families in the UK and for Ebony, inspire an approach to diversity that genuinely empowers individuals at work. My closing thoughts were of the strength that our shared values give us as we face the challenges in society and of sustainability in this turbulent world.
